Homegrown Hustle

StartupCincy is a community. A community of entrepreneurs, support organizations, innovators, enthusiasts, and so much more who come together to celebrate what connects us all—our collective Homegrown Hustle. This past October 23-26, we welcomed over 1,000 dreamers to Union Hall and our vibrant Over-the-Rhine community.

StartupCincy Week 2023 brought an undeniable energy to our region as our innovation ecosystem came together to host 45 events featuring over 100 unique speakers. Founders, universities, corporate leaders, investors, and startup supporters all took the stage to cover topics ranging from accessing capital to prioritizing the mental health of founders. We did what our ecosystem does best: invest in the growth and success of our startups.

Throughout the panels, workshops, and networking events we heard one sentiment over and over—no ecosystem is coming together like Cincinnati. The collaboration and engagement in our community is unmatched. We’ve had a 57% increase in website traffic this year and 100,000 of you engaged with us on social media. This community has shown up and showed out like never before and we’re so excited to see what the future holds for StartupCincy.

This year’s StartupCincy Week is a testament the incredible ecosystem collaboration of our event planning committees: Alloy, Aviatra Accelerators, Blue North, CincyTech, Cintrifuse, ECDI, Flywheel Social Enterprise Hub, gener8tor, Gratitude Collective, Miami University, and the University of Cincinnati. These organizations’ time, dedication, and energy brought Cincinnati a vibrant week of programming and resources designed to help startups and small businesses succeed. These partnerships are grounded in community and we are so honored to have such an active ecosystem.

The commitment to our region’s success inspires our hustle each and every day. Thank you for bringing your energy, innovation, and passion to Cincinnati.
